Using the CLI Commands
If you issue the ppp command, and the port is not configured properly for PPP, the terminal displays
This port cannot be used for PPP (see Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) starting on page A8-1 for
more details).

procs

The superuser procs command displays information about Model 5390 processes in a tabular format.
It is used for debugging Annex software. Table C3-18 describes the arguments for procs;
Table C3-19 describes the fields in the procs command display; and Table C3-20 describes the
Model 5390-specific processes. The syntax is:
procs [–ir] [–ppid] [–ddev]
A typical display looks like this:
annex# procs

NOTE: Although ppp is a user-level command, only the superuser help
command displays information about it. You cannot apply the minimum
uniqueness feature to ppp.

Argument Description
–i
Displays statistics on time spent in interrupt routines.
–r
Displays only processes that are currently running on
the Model 5390 server.
–ppid
Displays only processes for the specified pid.
–ddev
Displays only processes attached to the specified dev. Entering
a ? displays processes without an attached device.
