Configuration Parameters

login_password

This Model 5390 parameter specifies the password for all ports using a VMS interface. The string
size ranges from 0 to 16 characters. For security reasons, the Model 5390 server displays this value
as "<set>" or "<unset>." The default is "<unset>."

login_port_password

This asynchronous port parameter enables the port password when the VMS command interface is
configured (that is, when cli_interface is set to vci). A Y enables this parameter, an N disables it.
The default is N.

login_prompt

This Model 5390 parameter defines the prompt that appears for all ports using a VMS interface.
The string size ranges from 0 to 16 characters. The default is the # symbol.

login_timer

This Model 5390 parameter specifies the number of minutes a port using a VMS interface can remain
inactive. Valid values are 0 through 60 (minutes). Entering 0 sets the timer to 30 minutes. The default
is 30.
