For the outgoing port (the port from which the user is dialed back):
a) Set the port mode parameter to auto_adapt, adaptive, or slave
b) Set the port type_of_modem parameter to the modem type attached to the port (for
example, USR_144). This value must match the type_of_modem field in the Model 5390
configuration file, which resides on the host from which your Model 5390 server boots
and is named (by default) config.annex.
c) Set the appropriate port configuration parameters for the outgoing modem, for example,
set control_lines to both.
