Description
Displays the unit's ROM-resident Ethernet
address in hexadecimal notation or prompts for
values.
Boots and loads Model 5390 operational code.
Only ROM revisions 0600 and greater with the
self-boot option installed support the –l argument.
Displays the current hardware configuration and
revision levels.
Changes the console port's baud rate so that it can
interface with any modem to which it is
connected.
Erases non-volatile memory.
Displays ROM Monitor commands.
Sets the default image file name.
Sets several parameters associated with IPX
booting and dumping.
Allows you to set the LAT key from the ROM
monitor.
Sets the MOP load/dump address.
Executes a loopback test on the LAN.
Sends an Internet Control Message Protocol
(ICMP) mandatory ECHO_REQUEST datagram
to elicit an ICMP ECHO_RESPONSE from a host
or gateway.
Tests the serial line ports.
Edits the load-dump sequence interface list.
