port_identifier
Description
The name of an interface, a list of interface names
separated by commas, or a range of interface
names separated by hyphens. An interface is the
Model 5390 port over which a network protocol
can run. Ethernet, SLIP, and PPP ports are
interfaces; CLI and LAT ports are not. The name
of the Ethernet interface is en0. SLIP and PPP
interface names are of the form asyn, where n is
the SLIP or PPP port number. For example,
specify asy2 for PPP port 2. In a list of asyn
interface names, fully specify each name, for
example, asy1,asy2,asy3. In a range of asyn
names, fully specify the beginning of the range
and specify n for the end of the range, e.g., asy1-4.
When followed by an @ and an annex_identifier,
interface_identifier specifies an interface on a
specific Model 5390 server:
asy1@132.245.254.42 or asy1-5@lab
A list of one or more interface_identifiers
separated by semicolons. An interface_set can
include interfaces on different Model 5390
servers:
en0@132.245.254.42;asy1,asy2@lab
A list of one or more interface parameters, with or
without values, separated by white space (space,
tab, newline):
rip_sub_advertise Y
A serial port number, a list of port numbers
separated by commas, or a range of port numbers
separated by hyphens. When followed by an @
and an annex_identifier, port_identifier specifies a
port for a specific Model 5390 server:
5@132.245.254.42 or 1,3,5@lab
