5A-224 Automatic Transmission:
2. While holding the control valve body assembly (39),
connect the manual valve link (336) to the manual
shift detent lever assembly (710).
3. Install the 6 control valve body assembly to transaxle
case bolts and hand tighten.
CAUTION

Refer to "Fastener Notice: ".
4. Tighten the control valve body assembly-to-transaxle
case bolts in sequence.
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolts to 10 N⋅m (89 lb in).
5. Install a new control valve body fluid passage cover
gasket (38).
6. Install the control valve body fluid passage cover
(37).
7. Install the 2 control valve body bolts (31).
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolt to 10 N⋅m (89 lb in).
8. Install the transmission wiring harness. Refer to
"Automatic Transmission Wiring Harness
Replacement: ".
9. After the transmission is reassembled and filled with
fluid perform the transmission adaptive learn
procedure. Refer to "Transmission Adaptive Learn
and Transmission Neutral Learn".
