REMOVAL
I - REMOVAL PREPARATION OPERATION
a Remove:
- the rear side door trim (see Rear side door trim:
Removal - Refitting) (72A, Side opening element
trim),
- the rear side door sealing film (see Door sealing
film: Removal - Refitting) (65A, Opening element
sealing).
a Remove the access blanking cover to the locking
bolt of the dummy lock.
a Loosen the locking bolt completely without removing
it.
a Remove:
- the dummy lock,
- the exterior door handle (see 51A, Side opening
element mechanisms, Exterior door handle:
Removal - Refitting, page 51A-6) .
2 N.m
a Drill out the rivet (1) .
WARNING
To prevent any risk of corrosion after stripping
the panel, reapply the anticorrosion protection
(see Tec hnical Note 0592A).
a Unclip the rear side door exterior handle module (2) .
a Remove the rear side door exterior handle module
(3) from the rear side door panel.
