Field Name Field Description
Name of the interface running OSPF version 2 or OSPF version 3.
Interface
State of the interface:
State
Number of the area that the interface is in.
Area
Address of the area's designated router.
DR ID
Backup designated router for a particular subnet.
BDR ID
Nbrs Number of neighbors on this interface.
Type Type of interface:
Address IP address of the neighbor.
Mask Netmask of the neighbor.
Prefix-length (OSPFv3) IPv6 prefix length, in bits.
OSPF3-Intf-Index (OSPFv3) OSPF version 3 interface index.
MTU Interface's maximum transmission unit (MTU).
Cost Interface's cost (metric).
Address of the designated router.
DR addr
Address of the backup designated router.
BDR addr
Number of adjacent neighbors.
Adj count
Indicates that this interface is configured as a secondary interface for this area.
Secondary
This interface can belong to more than one area, but can be designated as a
primary interface only for one area.
Flood Reduction Indicates that this interface is configured with flooding reduction. All
self-originated LSAs from this interface are initially sent with the
set. As a result, LSAs are refreshed only when a change occurs.
Priority Router priority used in designated router (DR) election on this interface.
