Function
Specifies the next-hop address or
addresses to be used when routing
traffic to the static route.

All routing protocols use the Junos OS routing table to store the routes that they learn
and to determine which routes are advertised in the protocol packets. Routing policy
allows you to control which routes the routing protocols store in and retrieve from the
routing table on the routing device.
To configure routing policies for an EX Series switch using the J-Web interface:

Configure

Routing

NOTE: After you make changes to the configuration in this page, you must
commit the changes for them to take effect. To commit all changes to
the active configuration, select
Commit Options to Commit Configuration Changes for details about all
commit options.
Click one:

—Configures global options for policies. Enter information into the
Global Options
configuration page as described in Table 240 on page 1693.
Add
—Configures a new policy. Select
enter information into the configuration page as described in Table 241 on page 1694.
Select
to create a copy of an existing policy.

Your Action
To add an address:
1.
Click Add.
2. In the IP address dialog, enter the IP
address.
NOTE: If a route has multiple next-hop
addresses, traffic is routed across each
address in round-robin fashion.
3. Click OK.
To delete a next-hop address, select it from
the list and click
>
Policies
.
Commit Options

and specify a policy name. To add terms,
