The library ships with ten slots enabled. If you purchased additional
capacity when you purchased the library, the additional capacity is
enabled during installation of the library. You can also purchase additional
capacity at a later date.
Follow these steps to generate the activation key required to enable
additional slots in the library. If you need assistance, contact Spectra Logic
support at www.spectralogic.com/support.
1. Unpack all of the cartridges.
2. Log into the library with superuser or administrator privileges.
3. From the toolbar menu, select Configuration > Option Keys > New.
4. Locate and record your library's serial number, which is printed on a
