Deleting Firmware Servers

History The firmware packages downloaded to the library reside on the
LCM flash card. Over time, firmware packages (one per update)
accumulate on the card. Under certain rare circumstances, the library may
prompt you to delete packages, or you may choose to delete down level
packages without prompting.
Process You can delete down level firmware packages using either the
front panel or over a remote connection to the LCM through RLC. Deleting
a firmware package file does not delete firmware already applied to library
components; it simply removes the firmware package files from local
storage on the LCM.
Make sure that you no longer need access to a firmware package file
Caution
before you delete it.
Instructions Follow these steps to delete a package server:
1. Select Delete next to that server's name and details.
2. Select Yes to delete the server, or No to cancel the action.
Once Delete is confirmed, the server disappears.
