2. Remove one or both magazines, load the cartridges with the bar code

Load the cartridges beginning at slot 1 and continuing sequentially.
Ensure that you reinsert the magazines in the same locations where they were
previously located to prevent corrupting inventory.

3. Press Continue to load the right side magazines if you purchased the
December 2008
labels facing out, and carefully reinsert the magazine(s) into the library.

Note: Be sure and put the magazines back in their original location to
prevent move fails or data corruption.
If this is your initial setup—the first time you are loading
cartridges into the library—the cartridge location is dependent
only on your capacity license and they can go into any of the
magazines, but the magazines still need to go into their original
locations.
Do not insert cartridges in slots outside of your capacity license
locations or they will not be seen by the library or your backup
software. In other words, do not insert cartridges in slots above
12 if you only have a license for 10-slots.
