Important Information — Library Troubleshooting IBRARY ROUBLESHOOTING AutoSupport User The default AutoSupport user (autosupport@spectralogic.com) is dedicated to opening support tickets. It cannot receive auto-generated messages. Any configuration settings that send messages to the default AutoSupport user are deleted unless specifically requested by SpectraGuard support.

Do not use any type of LTO media that has not been approved by Spectra Logic for use in the library. Spectra Logic only supports media produced by IBM, HP, Fuji, Maxell, Sony, and Caution TDK. For best results, purchase Certified Media from Spectra Logic.

The power cord included with this unit is considered part of this unit and cannot be used with any other equipment. The Spectra Logic power cord (PN 8296) may be used with this product so you can plug the library into a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) in the rack.

BlueScale10.5.0-20081121F Changes to the way a library generates the World Wide Node Name (WWNN) and Important World Wide Port Names (WWPN) for LTO-4 Fibre Channel drives will affect your SAN or HBA configurations.

The robot now scans for inventory if you push a magazine back into the library in less than five seconds during a Bulk Load or Bulk Unload operation. The Remote Library Controller (RLC) no longer ejects the E/E Access Port (opens the door) when moving a tape to it. You must use the front panel to open the access port if you wish to remove the tape.
