Appendix C — Specifications
Use multi-mode optical fiber cables with dual single-channel (LC)
connectors.
Robot control commands from the host are routed to the transporter
through LUN 1 for one of the tape drives in the partition. The tape drive
reports the transporter as "SPECTRA PYTHON" on LUN 1. LUN 0 is the
tape drive itself.
SCSI Interface
LVD The LTO-3 SCSI tape drives support connecting to a wide SCSI-2 or
SCSI-3 Low-Voltage Differential (LVD) SCSI bus. Each tape drive has two
SCSI Ultra-3 SCSI "LVD" Fast & Wide, 68-pin Micro D female connectors.
VHDCI The LTO-4 SCSI tape drives have two VHDCI connectors.
One SCSI terminator is provided with each SCSI tape drive.
Universal Serial Bus (USB) Support
The USB interface supports the following:

classification.
Note:
Although LVD SCSI is compatible with single-ended (SE) SCSI
buses, Spectra Logic does not support operating the SCSI LTO
tape drives in the library SE bus.
