Loosen the cap using a wrench in order
to release the upper nut on the spring
retaining ring.
•
Unscrew the upper adjustment cap us-
ing the special Ohlins tool.
Specific tooling
01761-04 Ohlins fork cap ring nut
•
Remove the complete cap.
•
Unscrew the nut and remove it, exert-
ing slight pressure on the pre-loading
spring.
•
Remove the pre-loading spring retain-
ing ring.
