Loosen the cable gland clamp from the
fork stanchion.
•
Loosen the screw (2) of the upper
steering plate.
During refitting, tighten the screw to the prescribed
torque.

Support the fork stanchion and loosen
the two screws (3) of the lower steering
plate.
During refitting, tighten the screws to the prescri-
bed torque.

Lower steering plate screw

Slide off the stanchion downward and
remove it from the vehicle.
•
Repeat the operation for the stem on
the opposite side.
