Chapter 13: Replacing Hardware Components on the SRX1400 Services Gateway
Pull open the ejector handles to unseat the NSPC. See Figure 39 on page 123.

Grasp the NSPC by the ejector handles and slide it halfway out of the chassis.

Place one hand underneath the NSPC to support it and slide it completely out of the

chassis.
CAUTION: The NSPC can become very warm during operation. Avoid
contact with the heat sink on top of the card when removing it to prevent
personal injury.
Place the NSPC on the antistatic mat.

Slide the replacement NSPC into the slot until you feel resistance, and then press the

NSPC's faceplate until it engages the connectors.
Tighten the captive screws on the left and right of the NSPC. See Figure 40 on page 123.
