Coolant level too low

Malfunction in the electronics
Fuse F4/3, F5/6 blown
The coolant is too hot or
another malfunction.
The engine is not switched off
to ensure the load can be low-
ered and the truck crane can be
unrigged
Malfunctions in the exhaust system
Cause
Carbamide level in tank at
reserve level
Urea tank empty
– Carbamide tank sensor faulty
– Error on the carbamide
dosing unit
– Carbamide lines blocked
– Temperature sensor faulty
– Cable breakage in the car-
bamide system
– Exhaust gas sensor faulty

Top up coolant;

Clean the outside of the heat
exchanger

Separate
Tension V-belt;
engine operating instructions,
provided by the manufacturer
Check the oil level and top up if

necessary;

Turn off the engine with the
emergency-stop device;

Replace blown fuses;

Coolant too hot:
Wait until the coolant has cooled
down – the performance will
increase again

Remedy

Refill carbamide ;
Have the exhaust system checked
by Manitowoc Crane Care, an
authorised GROVE retailer or an
authorised specialised repair
shop.
