RAP 2.51 Elevator Input Power

The Elevator and Tilt Conveyor receive power
and communications from the CMT-130TC by
way of a power cable and communications cable
that come from the trimmer.
Possible Fault Indicators

The Elevator is not listed as a con-
nected accessory on the startup screen
or diagnostic screen.

The Elevator Lift Motor and/or Tilt Con-
veyor motors never run.
Initial Actions
Check that all cables between the trimmer, Ele-
vator, and Tilt Infeed Conveyor are securely fas-
tened and are not damaged.
Check that all doors on the Elevator and Tilt
Conveyor are securely closed.
Procedure
1. Switch the main power ON and press the
green start button to initialize the trimmer.
Does the trimmer's hydraulic motor come
on?
Y N
Go to RAP 2.15 Starter Circuit
2. Remove the Elevator motor cover to access
the Elevator electrical panel. Is there 120
VAC between wires 25 at SSR1 and wire 22
at the electrical panel (Figure 2-78)?
Y N
Is there 120VAC at wires 120 and 22 at the
Elevator electrical panel?
Y N
Check for loose or damaged cables be-
tween the trimmer, Elevator, and Tilt In-
feed Conveyor. Check for loose or

damaged wire connections inside the El-
evator electrical panel area.
Is there 120VAC at wire 23 at circuit breaker
CB1 and wire 22?
Y N
Go to RAP 2.52 Elevator Door Inter-
locks.
Is there 120VAC at wire 24 at circuit breaker
CB1 and wire 22?
Y N
Reset circuit breaker CB1 if tripped. If
circuit breaker continues to trip, use ap-
plicable schematic to troubleshoot af-
fected circuit (Section 7, Wiring Data).
Go to RAP 2.65 Elevator Pusher Interlock.
3. Switch off main power and check fuse F1 on
the Elevator PWB. Is the resistance less
than 2 Ohms?
Y N
Replace blown fuse.
4. Elevator input power is normal. To check
power to the Tilt Conveyor, go to RAP 2.54
Elevator Tilt Infeed Motors.
