ADJ 4.22 Face Jog Pressure

Use the following procedure to adjust the face
jog pressure to the recommended setting of 0.2
to 0.3 MPa.
Initial Actions
Check that the main air is switched ON. Re-
move the electrical panel door in order to gain
access to the pneumatic manifold (Figure 4-40).
Procedure
1. Loosen the lock nut on the valve #11 pres-
sure adjustment screw.
2. Use a slotted screwdriver to set the gripper
clamp pressure to 0.2 to 0.3 MPa. The
gauge location is shown in Figure 4-40.
Turning the screw clockwise will increase
pressure. Turning the screw counter-clock-
wise will decrease the pressure.
3. Actuate the valve manually a few times to
make sure the face jog rotates properly.
Check the pressure again to make sure it
did not change.
4. Once the pressure is set as desired, tighten
the adjustment screw lock nut.
5. Reinstall the electrical panel door.
