ADJ 4.5 Accuracy Adjustment

It may be necessary to recalibrate the trimmer's
accuracy if the dimensions of trimmed books are
consistently inaccurate.
Initial Actions
The trimmer MUST be cutting square before ac-
curacy adjustment. See BQ 3.9 Books Not
Square.
Obtain or cut a few books approximately ½"
(13mm) thick. For best results, use books that
have sides that are cut squarely to the spine,
and with good quality spines that are straight,
not twisted, and perpendicular to the rest of the
book.
Procedure
1. Switch the main power ON and press the
"Setup" button to bring up the setup options.
2. Press the "Service Info" tab to open the Ser-
vice Info screen (Figure 4-14). Click on the
"Enable Tabs Code" text box, enter in the
code 6125 and press enter. This will unlock
all of the locked tabs.
3. Press the "Accuracy Adjust" tab to open the
Accuracy Adjust screen (Figure 4-15).
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to re-
calibrate the trimmer's accuracy.
