RAP 2.3 Faults Without an Error Message
Description of Fault
Trimmer Faults
Machine will not switch on
The status light is always on, or never on
Console will not illuminate
Enclosure lights will not switch on or will not switch off
Cooling fan(s) do not function
The hydraulic motor will not start
The internal conveyors will not start and the gripper will not
move
The internal conveyors do not run while the pump motor is
on
The internal conveyors run while the pump motor is off
Registration assembly fails to move
Gripper clamp will not clamp, will not un-clamp, or is other-
wise stuck
Gripper never clamps book and/or books are delivered to
outfeed accessory without being cut
Gripper freezes in registration area
Registration stop plate is always extended, never extends,
or extends erratically
The left side jogger fails to extend
The knife will not come down
The knife stays down and hydraulic fluid passes over the
relief valve
Knife cuts with high impact at bottom of stroke even when
cushioning is set HIGH
Paper scrap does not blow into waste bin
Start button or remote cut button does not work
