ADJ 4.13 Hydraulic System Pressure

Use the following procedure to adjust the system
pressure to the recommended operating pres-
sure of 1,800-2,000 PSI.
Initial Actions
Remove the lower left door in order to gain ac-
cess to the hydraulic manifold (Figure 4-28).
Loosen the system pressure valve's lock nut.
Procedure
1. Remove the lower left door panel and locate
the pressure gauge on the hydraulic power
unit (Figure 4-28).
2. Switch the main power ON and the main air
ON.
3. Press the "Setup" button to bring up the
setup options.
4. Press the "Service Info" tab to open the Ser-
vice Info screen. Click on the "Enable Tabs
Code" text box, enter in the code 6125 and
press enter. This will unlock all of the locked
tabs.
5. Press the "Hydraulic/Air" tab to open the Hy-
draulic/Air screen.
6. Click on the "Shipping Position" button and
then press the green start button. The knife
assembly is forced up for 10 seconds at full
pressure, allowing the system pressure set-
ting to be seen on the pressure gauge.
7. The system pressure should be 1,800-2,000
PSI. If it is not, adjust the relief valve by
loosening the valve's lock nut then turning
the valve screw clockwise to increase pres-
sure or counter-clockwise to decrease the
pressure.
4. Repair/Adjustment Procedures
8. Switch the main power OFF, then repeat
steps 2 through 7 until the system pressure
setting is between 1,800-2,000 PSI.
9. Tighten the valve's lock nut.
10. Reinstall the door.
