Description
Books are not being trimmed to the dimensions
or locations that are intended.
Possible Causes

The trimmer's accuracy is not set cor-
rectly.

Books are not registering in the registra-
tion area properly, causing the books to
be misaligned in the gripper when being
trimmed.
Solutions

Recalibrate the machine's accuracy set-
tings (ADJ 4.5 Accuracy Adjustment).

Check function of left side jogging cylin-
der (ADJ 4.20 Left Jog Pressure Adjust-
ment and RAP 2.21 Left Jogger Cylin-
der).

Check function of face jogger (RAP 2.31
Face Jog Cylinder and ADJ 4.22 Face
Jog Pressure).

Check function of the registration plate
extend cylinder (RAP 2.26 Registration
Plate Extend Cylinder).

Check function of the gripper clamp
(ADJ 4.21 Gripper Clamp Pressure).
