GP 6.11 Keyed Interlock Switches

Keyed interlock switches are used throughout
the CMT-130TC and accessories. They prohibit
operation of the machine whenever an inter-
locked door or panel is open. A key mounted to
the door or panel must be completely inserted
into its corresponding switch in order for the ma-
chine to run. Use the following procedure to ad-
just the keyed interlock switches.
Procedure
1. Switch the main power ON and click the "Di-
agnostic" button to bring up the diagnostic
screen. If applicable, click on an accessory
diagnostic button to bring up a specific ac-
cessory's diagnostic screen.
2. Actuate the switch on and off by inserting
and removing a test key (part number
45180-4). If the switch and main PWB are
working correctly, an audible tone will be
emitted from the main PWB. Does the
switch change state properly?

Go to RAP 2.11 Interlock Test
3. Switch the main power OFF.
4. Loosen the switch mounting and/or bracket
screws or actuator key mounting screws.
5. Adjust the switch and key such that when
the door is closed, the actuator key inserts
fully into the switch body, and when the door
is opened, the actuator key pulls out of the
switch body.
6. With the switch and key in their proper posi-
tions, tighten all mounting screws.
7. Switch the main power ON and click the "Di-
agnostic" button to bring up the diagnostic
screen. If applicable, click on an accessory
diagnostic button to bring up a specific ac-
cessory's diagnostic screen.

8. Actuate the switch on and off by opening
and closing the door. If the switch and main
PWB are working correctly, an audible tone
will be emitted from the main PWB. Does
the switch change state properly?
Y N
Readjust switch body and/or actuator key
and repeat this test until the switch functions
as it did using the test key.
The switch adjustment is complete.
