ADJ 4.20 Left Jog Pressure Adjust-
ment
The air pressure going the the left jogger cylin-
der varies automatically depending on the thick-
ness of the book being trimmed. The range of
pressure is determined by the minimum and
maximum jog pressure settings. The following
procedure is used to adjust the minimum and
maximum jog pressure settings.
Initial Actions
Check that the main air is switched ON.
Procedure
1. Switch the main power ON and press the
"Setup" button to bring up the setup options.
2. Press the "Service Info" tab to open the Ser-
vice Info screen (Figure 4-37). Click on the
"Enable Tabs Code" text box, enter in the
code 6125 and press enter. This will unlock
all of the locked tabs.
3. Press the "Hydraulic/Air" tab to open the Hy-
draulic/Air screen. Locate the minimum and
maximum jog pressure slide bars (Figure
4-38).
4. Place a very thin book in the registration
area.
5. Press the "Left Jog Adjust Min" button to test
the value set for the minimum. Adjust and
re-test until the thin book jogs properly.
6. Remove the thin book and place a very thick
book in the registration area.
CAUTION
Caution: When testing the jog pressure, make
sure to place a book in the jogger area first!
Failure to do so may result in damage to the jog-
ger cylinder!

7. Press the "Left Jog Adjust Max" button to
test the value set for the maximum. Adjust
and re-test until the thick book jogs properly.
8. When finished, press the "Save and Exit"
button.
