The Dynamix™ 1444 series relay expansion module is a four-relay module that
serves to add relays to its host 1444-DYN04-01RA dynamic measurement
module.
The 1444-RELX00-04RB module is designed for use with a dynamic
measurement module that acts as its host, serves its powers, and manages the
relay module configuration.
The relay expansion module acts as an extension of its host module. So 1444-
RELX00-04RB module operation is dependent on the availability of its host.
However, the relay module can actuate relays independently of its host if
communications to the host fail or are lost.
Relays generally mimic the output logic of a referenced voted alarm. Relays can
also be configured to act independently of the voted alarm on module,
expansion module, communication, or tachometer fault status.
Configuration options for expansion relay module relays are shown only for
connected expansion relay modules (so either 4, 8 or 12 expansion relay
module relays can be configured).
