switch from shutting down. We recommend that you take base systems offline before
replacing the Control Board.
Before you remove a Control Board, ensure that you have an electrostatic discharge
(ESD) grounding strap.
CAUTION:
In base configurations, removal of the Control Board causes the
system to shut down. In redundant configurations, removal of the Control
Board causes the system to reboot and start the election process for a new
master.
To remove a Control Board:
Take the Control Board offline.

Place an electrostatic bag or antistatic mat on a flat, stable surface.
Attach the ESD grounding strap to your bare wrist, and connect the strap to the ESD
