7. Install the rear drive belt onto the intermediate drive
sheave (2) and latch the tension lever (1) for the rear
drive belt idler wheel.
8. Grease the splines on the countershaft and coupler.
Install the coupler (1) onto the countershaft and se-
cure with the retaining ring (2).
9. Install the front drive belt (1) onto the intermediate
drive sheave (2) and adjust the belt tensioner (3) so
the washer behind the adjusting nut (4) is even with
the end of the tension gauge (5).
