Straw walker Bearing - Install (K.42.E.58.40 - F.10.A.15)
1. Remove the grease of adapter sleeves (1) before
installation.
2. Tighten nut (3) to a torque of 100 - 110 Nm. (74 - 81
ft.lbs ) and secure with locking washer (2).
NOTE: Check the bearing position related to the shaft col-
lar in Straw walker Bearing - Dimension (K.42.E.58.40
- D.40.A.30) or Straw walker Bearing - Dimension
(K.42.E.58.40 - D.40.A.30).
3. The felt rings (1) must be steeped with engine oil.
Fill up bearing covers (2) with grease NLGI 2.
Tighten four nuts (3).
Next operation:
Install the straw walker shaft. Refer to Front shaft - Install (K.42.E.56 - F.10.A.15) / Rear shaft (K.42.E.57 -
F10.A.15).
