7. Turn out four cap screws and lock washers (1) Lift
the plate from the frame.
NOTE: Right side shown. Left side is similar.
8. Using a press, remove the steel-cased rubber bush-
ing (1), from the rocker arm pivot pin (2) Press the
rocker arm mounting flange (3), from the bushing.
9. Inspection
Inspect the journal (1) for wear or damage. The di-
ameter of the journal is to be 28.064 - 28.085 mm
(1.105 - 1.106 in). Journals with diameters less than
that specified should be replaced.
