Upper shoe - Remove (K.62.B.51 - F.10.A.10)
1. Remove the straw chopper (1) from the combine in
accordance with the appropriate section.
2. Open the deflector plate (1) on the chaff blower box
(2), to gain access to the hair pin clips (3) securing
the latches (4) on the chaff blower box (2).
3. Open the deflector plate latches (1) and remove the
chaff blower box (2) from the combine using the two
provided handles on the front of the chaff blower box.
NOTE: The chaff blower box is heavy and difficult to re-
move alone. Seek the assistance of a helper when remov-
ing the assembly from the combine to avoid possible seri-
ous injury.
