E0301-06 - Current Sense Upper Sieve Short Circuit
Cause:
The upper sieve motor (M-06) circuit indicates high current draw.
Possible failure modes:
1. Circuit wiring short to ground.
2. Excessive mechanical load on motor.
3. Controller internal failure (internal regulator failure).
Solution:
1. This is an H-bridge-controlled circuit (refer to Rotary screen Screen brush - Logical diagram (B.50.A.58.60
- C.20.B.72)). The lower sieve motor (M07) circuit is paired with the upper sieve motor (M06) circuit, and the
module switches between these two circuits using the Upper/Lower sieve relay K-18. Because these circuits
are connected and driven from the same module outputs, the troubleshooting procedure must consider both
circuits at the same time.
Enter the Infoview monitor - service info screens
Record and erase service history
Enter the Infoview monitor - Diagnose Info screens. Select CCM3, and scroll down to select "Lower Sieve
motor". Manually operate the motor in both directions.
Select "Upper Sieve motor" in the CCM3 Diagnose Info screen. Manually operate the motor in both directions.
Record in which direction(s) each circuit operates.
Reload error history. Check for fault codes 0300-06 and 0334-05 (Lower Sieve motor) and fault codes 0301-06
and 0335-05 (Upper Sieve motor).
Use the following table to determine the location of the fault.
