Drive system Front drive belt - Remove (K.64.C.40.10 - F.10.A.10)
1. Remove the belt guard retaining bolts (1) and remove
the belt guard (2) from the combine.
2. Loosen the nut (1) on the idler pulley tension spring
(2), to release the tension on the idler pulley.
3. Remove the belt (1) from the idler pulley (2) the in-
termediate sheave (3) and gearbox sheave (4).
4. Inspection
Inspect the belt for cracks, tears or other indications
of excessive wear or damage.
5. Inspect sheaves for binding, wobble or other indica-
tions of excessive wear or damage.
6. Replace or repair any parts found to have excessive
wear or damage.
