General Description

The controller is connected to PROFINET via interfaces X11 and X12.
Communication with the controller via X11 and X12 is only possible if PROFINET
is enabled. The switch function of these interfaces can be used even when
PROFINET is not enabled.
Cut-through mode is enabled for the interfaces.
The controller supports the media redundancy protocol (MRP client) via these
interfaces. The configuration for this is performed in the PROFINET IO Controller
engineering tool.
