Risk of injury due to sharp-edged blade contacts!
The blade contacts are sharp-edged. Handle the I/O module carefully to prevent
injury. Do not touch the blade contacts.
14.1

Removing Devices

Do not work when devices are energized!
High voltage can cause electric shock or burns.
Switch off all power to the device prior to performing any installation, repair or
maintenance work.

Removing the Controller

Use a screwdriver blade to turn the locking disc until the nose of the locking
disc no longer engages behind the carrier rail.
2.
Remove the controller from the assembly by pulling the release tab.
Electrical connections for data or power contacts to adjacent I/O modules are
disconnected when removing the controller.

Do not take the controller enclosure apart!
The enclosure sections are firmly joined. The feed-in section with the CAGE
®
CLAMP
connections cannot be separated from the other enclosure section.
