Tip
The
function is provided in the
dialog box. Select
Menu on the right side
Display Options
this function to place the menu system on the right side of the ES80 presentation. This
is the default setting. By deselecting this function, the entire menu system is placed
permanently on the left side of the ES80 presentation.

Screen Capture button description

When you use the ES80 actively, you may need to make a screen capture to save an
instantaneous image of the current presentation.
Description
Select
to make a copy of the current ES80 presentation.
Screen Capture
The screen captures you make are saved in .jpg format on the hard disk in the
Processor Unit. To view the images you have saved, select
on the bottom
Screen Capture
bar. This opens the built-in image browser, which allows you to retrieve the images.
Tip
Before you make the screen capture, you may wish to place an event marker on the
echogram. The event marker may be useful later to identify the information.

Record indicator description

A useful function of the ES80 is it ability to record echo data. The raw data recording
function provided by the ES80 allows you to save echo data using the
format. The
*.raw
data files can be played back on the ES80. The files can later be deleted, copied or
moved to another storage device.
Description
The
indicator shows you when recording is active. The
Record
indicator is red when recording is in progress.
Tip
Do not confuse the
function with the automatic
function. Unless you
Record
History
really need to record raw data for playback purposes, you should use this function with
care. The data files will fill you hard disk very fast! The History function saves the
echogram images automatically on the Processor Unit hard disk These images can be
recalled using the History information pane. The information in the History presentation
is the same as on the original echogram presentation.
The
button allows you to start and stop recording. If the current recording file

gets too large, you can - even during recording - select
to start a new file. The
Split File
function is located on the
menu.
