Selecting a numerical parameter by moving the
cursor horizontally

Place the cursor on the middle of the button.

Click and hold the left mouse button depressed.

Move the cursor horizontally: left to decrease the numerical value, or right to
increase it.

Release the mouse button when the requested value is shown.
Selecting a numerical parameter using the scroll
wheel

Place the cursor on the middle of the button.

Spin the scroll wheel in either direction to increase or decrease the numerical value.

Release the scroll wheel when the requested value is shown.
Selecting a numerical parameter using the keyboard

Click the middle section of the button to open a
text field.

Type the numerical value into the text field.
If the numerical value exceeds the permitted range for the parameter, the frame in
the text field will be red. The value is not accepted, and you must type a value
within the accepted range.

Selecting a parameter using a menu

Click the middle section of the button to open a
menu.

Select the requested value, command, option or
button.
The chosen value is applied, and the menu is
automatically closed

Whenever applicable, you can also access the menu by clicking the left and right
side of the button. This method will not show you the menu choices.
• Click on the left side of the button to select a 'lower' menu choice.
• Click on the right side of the button to select a 'higher' menu choice.
Selecting parameters using a dialog box
Click anywhere on the button to open a separate dialog
box. When the necessary changes have been made:
• Select
to save the selected settings and close the dialog box.
OK
• Select
to save your settings without closing the dialog box.
Apply
• Select
to close the dialog box without making any changes.
