10. Remove the paper feed frame. (See section 4.2.5.14.)
11. Remove the print feed roller. (See section 4.2.5.15.)
12. Remove the auto sheet feeder. (See section 4.2.5.16.)
13. Disconnect the sensor cable from the upper surface sensor.
14. Carefully remove the upper surface sensor from the auto sheet feeder.
It is held by two small plastic hooks. (See Figure 4-59.)
 
After replacing the upper surface sensor,
 
you'll need to perform the upper surface
sensor positioning adjustment. See Chapter 5
for details.
