Installing the Reader
Note:
Before installing readers, the reader names should be imported using a template. Reader names
are not automatically duplicated or synchronized with the OnGuard configuration, so make
sure the names match correctly.
1.
Using the DirectKey Toolkit, install the reader by choosing its serial number. You will only be able to
select a reader that is unassigned.
2.
For Owner, select the name of the company or site where the reader will be installed.
3.
For Room Num, select the name for the reader.
