POWER/GROUND LINE INSPECTION
Remove the combination meter (page 19-6).
Check the following at the wire harness side
connector of the combination meter.
POWER INPUT LINE
Measure the voltage between the Black/brown wire
terminal (+)and ground (- ).
There should be battery voltage with the ignition
switch ON.
If there is no voltage, check for open circuit in
Black/brown wire.
BACK-UP VOLTAGE LINE
Measure the voltage between the Red wire
terminal (
+)
and ground (- ).
There should
be
battery vollagtl

If there is no voltage, check for open circuit in red
wire.
SENSOR GROUND LINE
Check for continuity between the Green/black wire
terminal and ground.
There should be continuity at all times.
If there is no continuity, check for open circuit in
Green/black wire.
