INSPECTION
NOTE:
If any portion of the oil pump is worn beyond the
service limit, replace the oil pump as an assembly.
Temporarily assemble the oil pump.
Measure the rotor tip clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.20
mm
(0.008
in)
Measure the pump body clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT;
0.3G mm (0.014
in)
Measure the pump side clearance.
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.10
mm (0.004 in)
ASSEMBLY
Install the outer and inner rotors into
the
p11mp
body with the driver pin grooves in the inner rotor
facing the pump cover.
