Engine Oil - Honda C8R600F4 Service Manual

Coat a new 0-ring with grease and install it onto
the timing hole cap.
Apply grease to the timing hole cap threads.
Install and tighten the timing hole cap.
TORQUE: 18
N·m (1.8 kgf.m, 13 lbf·ft)
ENGINE OIL
Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes.
Stop the engine, support the motorcycle upright on
a level surface.
Wait for a few minutes and check that the oil level
is between the upper and lower level marks in the
inspection window.
If the oil level is below or near the lower level mark,
remove the oil flller cap and add the recommended
engine oil up to the upper level mark.
RECOMMENDED ENGINE OIL:
Honda GN4 4-stroke oil or equivalent motor oil
API service classification: SF or SG
Viscosity: SAE 10W-40
NOTE:
Other viscosities shown in the chart may be used
when

is within the indicated range.
Reinstall the filler cap.
