Auger Removal
1. To remove the auger bit from the auger shaft, set the
assembly down in its storage location (Fig. 001).
2. While lowering the arms, drive slowly backwards
until the auger is horizontal (Fig. 002).

3. Stop the engine.
4. Remove the bolt and nut securing the auger bit or
extension to the auger shaft (Fig. 003).
5. Start the engine and back the traction unit away from
the auger bit (Fig. 004).
Note: If you used an extension, remove the bolt and
nut securing it and pull it off the auger shaft.
