Making Trimmed Booklet (Trimming)
The Trimming mode is available only when the 9966 Trimming unit option is installed
on the 9980 Finisher. This function can be used with Folding or Stapling & Folding
mode to make each copied set folded or stapled & folded, trimmed at the edge that
opens the booklet, then output to the Trimming unit tray.

❒ Max. number of folded sheets (20 lb paper) in both modes:
Folding and Trimming:
Stapling & Folding and Trimming:16 sheets
❒ Paper size: 11"x17", 8.5"x14", 8.5"x11"R, A4R (16 ~ 24 lb)
❒ Trimming unit tray capacity:
When the Trimming unit tray capacity is exceeded, the Finisher and Trimming unit
will stop operating. Select an appropriate print quantity by referring to the following
capacities.
Approx. 512 sheets max.
