# Enter MST region view.

[DeviceA-mst-region] instance 3 vlan 30
[DeviceA-mst-region] instance 4 vlan 40
[DeviceA-mst-region] revision-level 0
# Configure the region name, VLAN-to-instance mappings and revision level of the
MST region.
[DeviceA-mst-region] active region-configuration
[DeviceA-mst-region] quit
# Define Device A as the root bridge of MST instance 1.
[DeviceA] stp instance 1 root primary
# View the MST region configuration information that has taken effect.
