Tighten the captive screws to secure the top cover.

Depending on how the removable media disk drive assembly was accessed in
step 3, return the T1000 AS chassis to its original position using one of the
following procedures:
• Procedure 7-5, "Slide T1000 AS Chassis Back into Frame," on page 7-9
• Procedure 7-7, "Return a T1000 AS Chassis to the Frame," on page 7-15

How to Replace PCI Cards

Use the procedure in this section for either of the following purposes:
• To replace a failed PCI card
• To remove PCI cards from a failed T1000 AS chassis and place them in a
replacement T1000 AS chassis
Procedure 7-12. Replace a PCI Card

Do one of the following:
• If this procedure is being performed to move PCI cards from a failed T1000
AS chassis to the replacement T1000 AS chassis, skip to the next step.
• If this procedure is being performed to replace a failed PCI card, ensure
that the following have been done:
— An RMA has been obtained (see Procedure B-1, "Obtaining an RMA,"
—A spare PCI card is available. Inspect the replacement card and shipping
