How to Replace PCI Cards

Use the procedure in this section for either of the following purposes:
• To replace a failed PCI card
• To remove PCI cards from a failed T1000 AS chassis and place them in a
replacement T1000 AS chassis
Procedure 7-12. Replace a PCI Card

Do one of the following:
• If this procedure is being performed to move PCI cards from a failed T1000
AS chassis to the replacement T1000 AS chassis, skip to the next step.
• If this procedure is being performed to replace a failed PCI card, ensure
that the following have been done:
— An RMA has been obtained (see Procedure B-1, "Obtaining an RMA,"
—A spare PCI card is available. Inspect the replacement card and shipping
