WARNING: When replacing both drives in a failed T1000 AS chassis
always place the drives in the locations they were removed from. Failure to
replace the drives in the correct locations will cause data corruption and
render the unit inoperable.

Disconnect the flat data cable and power cable from rear of the hard disk
drive. See Figure 7-11 for drive locations and cable connections.

Loosen, but do not remove, the four # 6-32 pan-head screws that attach the
hard disk drive assembly mounting bracket to the stand-offs on the bottom of
the front top cover. See Figure 7-12.
NOTE: The drive mounting brackets have four keyhole slots to allow
removal of the brackets with the attached hard disk drive assemblies
without completely removing the screws from the stand-offs in the cover.
