NOTE: All log messages are retained in Flash and purged from RAM after a
cold restart (i.e., power is turned off and then on through the power source).

To configure the logging of error messages to system memory:
1. Click A
DMINISTRATION
2. Select C
ONFIGURE
3. Enable or disable system logging, set the level of event messages to be logged to
flash memory and RAM.
4. Click A .

To show the error messages logged to system or flash memory:
1. Click A
DMINISTRATION
2. Select S L

3. Click RAM to display log messages stored in system memory, or F
messages stored in flash memory.
This page allows you to scroll through the logged system and event messages. The
switch can store up to 2048 log entries in temporary random access memory (RAM;
i.e., memory flushed on power reset) and up to 4096 entries in permanent flash
memory.
