Routing and Control Board

The Routing and Control Board (RCB) contains a routing engine and is responsible for
the system management and system control in QFX10008. See
RCBs are FRUs that are installed in the front of the chassis in the slots labeled
. The base configuration has a single RCB; the fully-redundant configuration has two
CB1
RCBs. The RCB also contains Precision Time Protocol ports and four MAC-SEC capable
ports. See
